We Welcome KommunalBIT as a New Partner

One of the reasons that we have always been successful is because we have good partners. With strong partners, we not only grow organically, but we also reach customers for whom independent operation of an ECM system would otherwise be uneconomical. We are therefore pleased to welcome KommunalBIT AöR to our partner network as of 1 February 2018.

Based in Fürth, Germany, Kommunale Betrieb für Informationstechnik (KommunalBIT) AöR is the central service provider for IT and telecommunications for the cities of Erlangen, Fürth, Schwabach, and the members of Zweckverband Informationstechnik Franken (ZV IT Franken). KommunalBIT deploys a high-quality and demand-oriented range of hardware, software, and IT services for around 3,300 users in public administration and 37 schools.

The service provider’s customers in Erlangen and Fürth have used enaio®, the ECM system from OPTIMAL SYSTEMS Hannover, for years. This is how the idea of a strategic partnership came about: KommunalBIT will make our software available to its interested customers, based on its experiences with the software. It will be operated in the company’s data centers in Fürth. This ensures that even smaller municipalities can digitalize their processes with enaio® in view of the upcoming e-government requirements without overloading their own IT capacities.
